Justice Minister Athanasiou: Progress achieved, but efforts will continue

The progress achieved so far by the Greek Presidency of the Council of the EU in the field of Justice was presented on 1 April by the Minister of Justice, Transparency and Human Rights Charalampos Athanasiou to the JURI (Legal Affairs) and LIBE (Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs) Committees of the European Parliament (EP). “The Greek Presidency coincides with the European elections. However, we will not reduce our efforts on the proposed legislative measures”, Mr. Athanasiou underlined.

Council, EP and Commission on the homestretch for the adoption of a regulation concerning information and promotion measures for agricultural products on the internal market and in third countries

Minister for Rural Development and Food, Athanasios Tsaftaris, in his capacity as chairman of the Council of EU Ministers for Agriculture, will participate today (1.4.2014) in a trilogue with the European Parliament and the European Commission aiming at reaching agreement on a regulation proposal concerning information and promotion measures for agricultural products on the internal market and in third countries.
