Greek Minister of Labour, Social Security and Welfare, Mr. Yiannis Vroutsis, will present the priorities of the Greek Presidency of the Council of European Union in the fields of employment and social policy at the EU Employment, Social policy, Health and Consumer Affairs (EPSCO) Council, to take place on Monday, December 9, 2013, in Brussels, in view of the assumption of the Presidency of the Council of the EU on 1 January 2014.
The agenda of this last Employment, Social policy, Health and Consumer Affairs (EPSCO) Council meeting under the Lithuanian Presidency, includes, inter alia, youth employment, a proposal for a Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on the enforcement of Directive 96/71/EC concerning the posting of workers in the framework of the provision of services and the scoreboard of employment and social indicators (Chapter 3 of the draft Joint Employment Report).
