Α Special Event on the EU Strategy for the Adriatic -Ionian Region will be held in Athens on 6-7 February 2014. This meeting will bring together various stakeholders from 8 participating countries and will mark the conclusion of consultations on the four pillars of the EUSAIR.

Ministers from the 8 countries will participate in the event along with the European Commissioners responsible for Regional Policy, Johannes Hahn, and for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Maria Damanaki. Prime Minister of Greece, Antonis Samaras, will address the event.
