A meeting of the General Affairs Council, chaired by the Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos, took place today (11.02.2014) in Brussels.

The meeting discussed the work programme of the Greek Presidency for the duration of its term, preparations for the European Council meeting on 20-21 March and a European Commission proposal for genetically modifies maize 1507 to be made available on the market for cultivation.
