Europe faces serious security threats that are growing in scale and sophistication. Space-based assets and systems are critical to meet these threats while at the same time space systems need to be protected.

The Greek Presidency, in collaboration with the European Commission, wishes to contribute to the overall reflection on the civil military synergies notably for space and security matters.

In this context, the conference will explore synergies for both civilian and defence use of space technologies, space infrastructures and space services.
