A strong, integrated, smartly regulated and ambitiously implemented Single Market can create growth, generate jobs and offer opportunities for European citizens. Single Market is the engine to drive growth, but there are remaining challenges to be addressed.

In this framework, the Ministry of Finance is co-organising with the European Commission, under the auspices of the Greek Presidency, a Conference focusing on key areas which could unlock the full potential of the Single Market for new growth. The debate is structured around three main topics:

•    European Single Market in the global arena
•    Unobstructed Provision of Services in the Single Market
•    How smart do we need our regulation?

EU Member States’ officials and experts from public and private sector, business and academic community, think tanks, the Commission and European networks, will discuss the challenges faced within the context of the Single Market and beyond.
