The Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs is holding a conference on “U-Multirank, a New University Ranking System” in Athens on 10 – 11 June 2014 in the context of the Hellenic Presidency in the Council of the European Union.

The Minister of Education and Religious Affairs, Professor Constantine Arvanitopoulos, and Commissioner for Education, Culture, Multilingualism and Youth, Mrs Androulla Vassiliou, are attending the conference together with Rectors, Presidents of Technological Institutes and the Hellenic Quality Assurance and Accreditation Agency.

U–Multirank is a new University ranking system, based on a new multidimensional methodology for evaluating excellence at an international level. Teaching and learning, research, transmission of knowledge, the international perspective and the regional dimension of HEIs are some of the criteria used for the evaluation.
