The Political and Security Committee (PSC) is responsible for EU Common Foreign and Security Policy (CSFP) and the Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP).  Member States are represented at the ambassadorial level.  Meetings are permanently chaired by the European External Action Service and are held in Brussels twice a week, while additional meetings also take place, if necessary.
