The Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs is holding a meeting of the Education Committee in Athens on 26 – 27 June 2014 in the context of the Hellenic Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The Education Committee is responsible for preparing the documents adopted by the Ministers of Education and facilitating the cooperation among member states as far as education is concerned.

The key points of the meeting will be the presentation and discussions over the conclusions drawn from the meetings of the Directorate – Generals for Schools, Vocational Training and Higher Education, all held in Athens under the Hellenic Presidency of the Council of the EU, the discussions over the Working Groups for ET2020 and the preparation of the next Presidency of the Council of the EU.
