Within the framework of the Hellenic Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the informal meeting of the Directors General of the European Public Administration Network (EUPAN) and the informal meeting of the above Directors General with the representatives of the civil servants’ trade unions of the member states of the European Union (TUNED) will be held in Zappeion Megaron, on 19 - 20 June, 2014 respectively.

At the meeting of 19 June, the Minister of Administrative Reform and E-Gov, Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis will give the opening speech. During this meeting, representatives of the European Commission, the Court of Justice of the European Union and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) will discuss on issues regarding the reform of structures and redesign of public services, the empowerment of human resources, the simplification of administrative procedures and reduction of administrative burdens, overall aiming towards a more effective and efficient public administration.

At the meeting of 20 June, representatives of the civil servants’ trade unions of the Member States of the European Union will discuss on issues regarding the role of HR in shaping public administration, the simplification of administrative procedures and the conditions to develop productive social dialogue.
