The Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs is holding a meeting of the Directors General for Higher Education on 20 – 21 May 2014 in the context of the Hellenic Presidency in the Council of the European Union.

In the meeting participate Rectors and Directors General for Higher Education from Member States’ Ministries of Education, with high expertise in higher education. Also, organisations like EURASHE, Eurydice, European University Association and European Students' Union are participating in the meeting.

The focal points of the discussions are the presentation of the experience gained in designing and managing system-level reform strategies as well as the model of restructuring chosen in each country depending on the national structures and policies. Also, the triennial EU Quality Assurance Report and the consultation on the European Area of Skills and Qualifications are going to be presented.
