The Informal Meeting of EU Ministers for Employment and Social Affairs is part of EPSCO Council’s long-standing tradition. This Meeting provides an opportunity for an open dialogue among Ministers on issues that constitute priorities of each Presidency. It also constitutes an opportunity to exchange views with the European Parliament, the European Social Partners as well as the European non-governmental organizations active in the social field.
The Meeting of 29-30 April 2014 focuses on the hotspots of the Greek Presidency in the field of employment and social policy. The policy dialogue will be organized around the following thematic areas:
a) Employment and Social Dimension of the “Europe 2020 Strategy”: Review and Prospects
b) Towards quality jobs: measures to prevent undeclared work.
