The Advisory Forum of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) connects EFSA with the national food safety authorities of the 28 Member States, Iceland and Norway. Representatives from the food safety authorities of Switzerland and the Candidate Countries also participate as observers. The Advisory Forum provides advice to EFSA regarding the compilation of EFSA’s work programme and priorities. Further to that, it supports coordination and scientific cooperation on food safety issues in Europe, including – but not limited to – exchange of scientific data, risk assessment and risk communication.
Greece is represented in the Advisory Forum by the Hellenic Food Authority.
