Eurofi is organising in Athens on 31 March and 1 April 2014 a seminar in association with the Greek EU Presidency, gathering a targeted audience of EU and international public representatives and industry representatives to address on-going reforms in the financial sector.
Attendance to the seminar is by invitation only. Discussions will be conducted under Chatham House rules with no presence of the media or press.
The objective of the meeting is to facilitate open and interactive exchanges of views between leading public and industry decision-makers on the main regulatory developments at the EU and global levels impacting the financial industry. The debates will focus more specifically on the proposals currently on the table aiming to improve the resilience of financial institutions and to facilitate their recovery and resolution, the measures required to foster an appropriate financing of the EU economy, the on-going reforms in the banking, insurance and capital market sectors and the priorities for the forthcoming EU Commission.
Around 400 public and industry representatives and stakeholders from all over Europe and international organisations are expected to attend this event taking place at the Athens Hilton hotel.
