“Europeana for Research and Tourism” is an invitation-only strategic meeting taking place in Athens on 23 and 24 of June. Europeana, Europe's digital library, museum and archive, collects a wealth of European digital culture and makes it openly available to the public. This event will bring together Member State expert groups and policy makers on culture, tourism and research to produce actionable recommendations on the use of digital cultural heritage as a resource for national tourism and research. The “Europeana for Research and Tourism” event is organized by Europeana and the National Documentation Centre/NHRF  in Athens, with the support of the European Commission and the General Secretariat for Research and Technology. The meeting will take place at the National Hellenic Research Foundation & the Royal Olympic Hotel.
