A two days event, organized by the Orthodox Academy of Crete in cooperation with the Theological Faculty of Thessaloniki and other regional and ecclesiastical Institutions of Crete.

The main topic of this event is the necessity of the Church to participate in the decisions taken by the European Institutions and affecting the lives of 500 million European citizens. Agenda:

I. The role of the Church in the formation of the new European Reality

II. Solidarity in the social policy of the European Union (EU)

III. Saints Kyrillos and Methodios: the Protectors of Europe

On Sunday, May 11th , a forum on “CRETE AND EUROPE: an interesting intercultural coexistence” will be held, with the participation of the Primary School of Kolympari and the 9th Primary School of Chania.
