The Presidents of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso, the European Parliament  Martin Schulz, the Council's rotating President, Greece's Prime Minister Antonis Samaras, and Designated Chair of the High Level Group on Own Resources Mario Monti, will launch the new high-level group in Strasbourg on 25 February.

The new High Level Group on Own Resources will examine how the European Union should be financed in the future. The Group consists of representatives of the European Parliament, the Commission and the Council.
